While I was a police officer...

My tasks included the identification of the perpetrators of crimes committed by unknown criminals, the detection of crimes and the administration of criminal proceedings up to the court level. In addition, I performed duties as a drug liaison officer, while my main responsibilites were to maintain contact between local government services and the department, as well as cooperation with civil organizations.

During my time at the Police Department, I was the commander in several cases of public area operations and often took part in realizations with the cooperation of the Budapest Operations Department, and I was also fortunate to participate in the implementation of operational tasks.

Than National Security arrived in my life

My tasks included performing general security inspections of persons holding positions subject to national security control according to the National Security Act. The work required extreme precision and discipline due to tight deadlines and special responsibility. Personal contact with both the inspected persons and the heads of the national bodies was a necessary part of the inspections.

Suddenly I found myself in counter-intelligence

My tasks included collecting data, analyzing them, turning them into information, and putting them into context. My reports are usually for the information of the Director General, but some parts of my report were also regularly published in government information sheets. In general, I had to work from several different sources, for example with open source materials, databases, and especially with human resources, as well as information from partner services. On several occasions, I had the opportunity to represent the office and Hungary at international conferences based on multilateral unity.

A chance of my life

I had the opportunity to participate in the Joint Operation Themis 2022 of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (FRONTEX), during which my primary task was to collect, analyze and report information related to illegal migration, as well as support local law enforcement agencies. During my secondment, I gained significant experience of working in an international environment and the activities of EU institutions.

The big step

Taking a position at Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions was a major milestone in my professional journey. As part of the Cyber Threat Intelligence Department, I gained hands-on experience in vulnerability management, incident detection, and response. The dynamic and fast-paced environment gave me the chance to deepen my technical knowledge and develop solutions to real-world cyber threats affecting both the company and its clients.

New life abroad

Relocating to Malta for the opportunity at Zampa Partners gave me the chance to broaden my horizons both personally and professionally. As an Internal IT Auditor, I conduct comprehensive audits to identify vulnerabilities, support regulatory compliance, and help the organization build robust and secure IT systems. Being part of a multicultural team in a rapidly developing sector is both challenging and inspiring.
